What does an exterior repaint include, and who is it for?
An exterior repaint covers the walls and trim, and most of the work happens before any paint goes on. Stucco holds dirt, mildew, and chalk from the old paint, and a new coat won't bond to any of them.
It's for homes where the paint has faded, chalked, or started peeling, and for anyone changing colors. It's not for a small patch of peeling on an otherwise sound paint job. A spot repair with matched paint costs less and buys a few more years.
If the stucco has rot, water intrusion, or cracking from the structure moving, paint won't fix it. That needs the right trade first, and I'll tell you so before we quote the paint.
How do we paint a stucco exterior?

Prep
Pressure washing, with a soft wash on stucco, removes mildew, chalk, and dirt. Then sanding, patching, and caulking, and scraping any failing paint back to a sound edge.

Exterior paint rated for UV and humidity exposure, with primer where the surface needs it. We don't name brands, because product lines change and the rating is what matters.

Cure time
Paint needs dry weather between coats, which is why summer afternoon storms can add working days. The dry season, roughly November through April, is the more predictable window.
